2022 Summer Intensive Audition Tour

Summer Intensives are rapidly approaching! We will be holding in-person auditions in Kansas City, Connecticut, Charlotte, and Orlando. We are accepting in-person auditions as well as video auditions for our intensive. Video auditions will be accepted no later than March 31st, 2022. Russian Ballet Orlando is actively seeking enthusiastic, highly trained ballet dancers for the 2022-23 Season and will be granting 10 company positions to our Summer Intensive attendees after successfully completing their 5-week intensive. We have full 12-month paid contracts to offer to men and women in addition to apprentice and trainee positions available.

What should you expect from your in-person audition?

The in-person audition will include a 30-minute registration followed by a full professional hour and a half company class with a short pointe class after. Men will have a short technique audition in place of pointe class. Please bring your resume, headshot, and any materials you would like us to look over. Register Here

If you are preparing a video audition please include:

-Center Adagio

-Center Battement Tendu with pirouettes

-Grand pirouette

-Petite & Grand Allegro

Please limit the above section to no more than 5 minutes. In addition, send 2 classical variations either in-studio or as a part of a performance. Please keep these to no more than 10 minutes. No Contemporary work is needed. Please include your resume and headshot in the same email. Submit here.
