TRAINEE PROGRAM

• Russian Ballet Orlando's Trainee Program is a unique opportunity for dedicated dancers seeking a professional career. As a professional Vaganova training Academy & Company, RBO concentrates on inspiring dancers and preparing them for the rigors of the dance world.  

• Our world-renown staff will work with each Trainee individually during technique classes and private lessons.  

• Morning, evening, and all-day programs are available.  Our most dedicated dancers are a part of the all-day program, which gives them the opportunity to train and work with Russian Ballet professional company dancers in a full-time working environment.

• Our daily curriculum is strategically designed to improve and strengthen the foundation, technique, and flexibility of every dancer.  Trainees become understudies for every company role/dance and have the opportunity to receive soloist parts.

-Character and Historical Dance

-Private Rehearsals for Solo and Principal Roles

Every Trainee will dance in full-length classical productions, often performing soloist and principal roles. Russian Ballet Orlando presents between 25 - 40 classical productions per year, including Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Carmen, Coppelia, Cinderella,  La Bayadere, and many more.

Performance/acting/awareness/coordination on stage is 50% part of every dancer's training.  You can be a beautiful dancer, but can you make the audience cry, laugh or get them to feel what you are feeling on stage? It is a skill that is trained separately from daily technique classes.  Character development takes weeks if not months of private one on one coaching.  Russian Ballet Orlando specializes in all of the above.
