Professional Company Auditions

Russian Ballet Company is actively seeking 5 enthusiastic, highly trained ballet dancers for the 2021-22 Season, as well as 4 - 6 apprentices. Auditions will take place in person at our Downtown Orlando Studio on July 18th, 2021. If you are unable to attend this audition in person we will be accepting video auditions no later than July 15th, 2021.

We have 8-month paid contracts for 2 women and 3 men and are also offering 4-6 fully scholarshipped apprentice contracts which include performance stipends. Additional company perks will also be offered throughout the season. The 2021-22 Season will present multiple shows of Esmeralda, The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Toy Shop, and La Bayadere, as well as various community presentations throughout the year. What should you expect from your in-person audition?

The in-person audition will be a full professional hour and a half company class with a short pointe class after. Men will have a 10-minute technique audition with Vadim Fedotov, master teacher and resident choreographer in place of pointe class.

If you are preparing a video audition please include:

-Center Adagio

-Center Battement Tendu with pirouettes

-Grand pirouette

-Petite & Grand Allegro

& more if you wish without over-extending your time.

Please limit the above section to no more than 5 minutes. In addition, send 2 classical variations either in studio or as a part of a performance. Please keep these to no more than 10 minutes.
